Argosight is seeking a Fractional Product Marketing Leader for our client, a well-funded B2B enterprise software company. This part-time, 100% remote role (15–20 hours per week for 3 months) is an exciting opportunity for a skilled product marketing professional to make an immediate impact.
The role focuses on sales enablement and product marketing execution, with the flexibility to shape the client’s future team structure. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in product marketing and be adept at creating high-impact materials that communicate technical product value to diverse audiences.
Position Details
Role: Product Marketing Leader (Fractional)
Location: Remote
Engagement Type: Part-time (15–20 hours/week).
Duration: January–March 2024, with potential for a full-time role thereafter.
Collaboration: Preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone to maximize overlap with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement:

Develop tailored materials, including pitch decks, vertical-specific slides, and battle cards, to support the sales team in achieving success.

Respond quickly to sales opportunities with customized, impactful resources.
Product Value Communication:

Translate technical product value propositions into clear, engaging messaging for both technical and business stakeholders.

Serve as the bridge between technical complexity and business value.
Competitive Intelligence:

Deliver actionable competitive insights and tools to counter competitor positioning effectively.

Equip the sales team with concise, strategic messaging for competitive scenarios.
Collaboration Across Teams:

Work closely with product management, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies.

Provide seamless communication and execution support across functions.
Technical Depth:

Demonstrate familiarity with APIs, headless commerce, and microservices to engage effectively with technical buyers.

Qualifications:
Experience:

5–7 years of product marketing experience, ideally within B2B enterprise software.

Proven track record of supporting sales teams in closing $100K+ enterprise deals.
Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, and retail industries.

Understanding of digital transformation and the associated challenges faced by enterprise clients.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in APIs, headless commerce platforms, and microservices.

Ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Sales Enablement Expertise:

Strong ability to create tailored, actionable sales tools quickly.

Experience in developing buyer personas, messaging frameworks, and competitive positioning strategies.
