Argosight is seeking a Student Engagement & Campus Activation Marketing Consultant for the Harvard / MIT Coop. This part-time (15–20 hours per week for 6 months) is an exciting opportunity for creative marketing strategists and leaders.

This role focuses on developing and executing strategic campus outreach initiatives to enhance student engagement and brand visibility. It combines physical and digital marketing, event activation, and relationship-building to integrate The Coop into student life.

Position Details

Role: Marketing Consultant - Student Engagement & Campus Activation Marketing 

Location: Cambridge, MA

Engagement Type: Part-time (20 hours/week).

Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

1. Campus Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel engagement strategy targeting student organizations, faculty, and campus influencers.

  • Build direct relationships with student clubs, faculty members, and campus communications teams.

  • Collaborate with The Coop’s Campus Connection Committee and student action groups to expand our presence.

  • Immerse yourself in the campus culture—attend events, host coffee chats, and create real-world brand touchpoints.

 

2. Digital & Physical Outreach Execution

Digital Outreach

  • Oversee and grow The Coop’s Instagram and email marketing presence, ensuring content resonates with students.

  • Develop and manage a newsletter strategy that drives engagement and event participation.

  • Track key engagement metrics (open rates, social interactions, conversions) to refine outreach efforts.

Physical Outreach

  • Leverage posters, sandwich boards, and on-campus activations to reach students where they are.

  • Design guerilla marketing campaigns that create buzz and build brand recognition.

  • Partner with student ambassadors to amplify The Coop’s influence through peer-led initiatives.

 

3. Event Marketing & Real-Time Engagement

  • Drive high student turnout at key campus events through targeted marketing efforts.

  • Execute live event marketing strategies, such as on-site promotions, giveaways, and sign-ups.

  • Engage student networks and influencers to extend The Coop’s reach beyond traditional channels.

 

4. Playbook Development & Scalability

  • Create a structured "Campus Engagement Playbook" to guide future marketing efforts.

  • Document best practices for:

    • Digital vs. physical outreach strategies

    • Key student organization partnerships

    • Tailored messaging for different campus audiences

    • Sustainable event marketing tactics
